Caretaker - Hackney

Role Responsibilities
As a Caretaker, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the cleanliness, security, and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.

Conducting routine checks of facilities, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting with minor repairs.
Supporting the setup and breakdown for school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety checks.
Coordinating with contractors and suppliers for maintenance work as needed.
Keeping inventory of consumables, cleaning materials, and reporting replenishment needs.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or premises role is desirable.
Practical skills and experience with general maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
