Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons on various aspects of Geography, ensuring they are engaging and meet the specific needs of the students
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and enrich the curriculum
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress
• Keep up-to-date with the latest educational trends and teaching methods in order to continuously enhance your own teaching practice

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Geography or related field
• Proven experience teaching Geography to primary/secondary students
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment criteria in Geography
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
