Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at GOGGS, London, SW1A 2HQ.We are looking for a keen coffee enthusiast to make specialty hot drinks, alongside providing excellent customer service on the tills. You will be working with a fantastic team and supporting the day-to-day running of the unit.Aramark UK are making a work life balance achievable whilst still working in hospitality, cultivating your culinary career with a world leading organisation. To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

This is a full-time position, 32 hours per week, Shifts range between 7am and 5pm Monday to Thursday with the occasional Friday, leaving your evenings and weekends free

A day in the life of a Hospitality assistant, all-rounder:
Setting Up: Arrange tables, chairs, and decorations for events, ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive.
Serving Food and Drinks: Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen and serving areas clean and organized, including washing dishes and utensils.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock supplies, such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments.
Customer Service: Address guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service throughout the event.
Event Coordination: Work with the event coordinator to ensure the smooth running of events, including handling any last-minute changes.
Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food is prepared and served in a hygienic manner
When the hospitality department is not busy, you may be required to assist other departments. This could include covering holidays or sicknesses in the restaurant, deli, or café, as well as attending to vending machines
You will be set up for success if you have:
Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work
Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
Previous catering/hospitality assistant experience is desirable, however not essential as full training will be given on site.
