Role Overview

An established and growing ventilation contractor is looking to appoint a Ventilation Project / Contracts Manager to take full ownership of multiple ventilation projects from pre-construction through to final handover.

This role suits a commercially aware Project or Contracts Manager with a strong ventilation background, capable of delivering projects with values of up to £1.5 million while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple ventilation projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Take full responsibility for programme, cost control, quality, and delivery

• Prepare and submit monthly payment applications

• Maintain strong commercial control throughout the project lifecycle

• Price variations and prepare detailed change control and substantiation

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Monitor site progress, manage risk, and resolve technical or delivery issues

• Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements and industry standards

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Ventilation Project / Contracts Manager role or similar

• At least 2 years’ office-based / management experience (off the tools)

• Proven track record delivering ventilation projects up to £1.5m

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders

• Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

Desirable (Advantageous)

• Ventilation design experience

• Ventilation estimating experience (Ensign software beneficial)

• Strong technical understanding of ventilation systems and installation methods
