The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure. You will provide hands-on technical support for staff and students, ensuring that all technology is functional, reliable, and secure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing first-line technical support to staff and students.

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals.

  • Supporting classroom technology, including projectors, interactive whiteboards, and devices.

  • Troubleshooting network, software, and hardware issues.

  • Monitoring and maintaining backups, security systems, and IT documentation.

  • Supporting the rollout of new IT initiatives and digital learning tools.

  • Maintaining accurate records of technical support requests and system updates.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in IT support, technician, or helpdesk roles.

  • Knowledge of Windows systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.

  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
