Senior Legal Engineer
- Play an active role in the design, planning and execution of client projects as part of an agile multi-functional team.
- Bring together and manage a team with diverse skillsets to ensure project success.
- Understand and analyse legal/business processes using advanced process mapping skills or other visualisation methods.
- Work closely with lawyers and colleagues from across the firm as SMEs and manage all stakeholders effectively.
- Study the legal technology market on a regular basis and maintain a thorough understanding of the biggest market players and technologies; organise demos to keep up to date.
- Use information to critically assess options and to articulate and support the potential range of approaches that could be applied to problem solving.
- Deliver client solutions using the Microsoft suite alongside other technology platforms such as HighQ, Contract Express, Relativity, Bryter and Kira.
- Actively participate in our Wavelength Academy to grow and share skills and expertise contributing to team-wide professional development.
- Engage with our internal and external clients to market and promote our services.
- Has a degree, equivalent qualification or relatable work experience.
- Has 5+ years of experience of working in the legal sector.
- Has experience of working with data, design or technology.
- Has good listening skills, and an ability to summarise information
- Is an analytical thinker and has experience in applying their skills to solving complex, multifaceted legal problems.
- Thrives in a team environment, wants to be part of a diverse and inclusive team and has great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Can multi task and is proactive when it comes to projects; displays a willingness to understand the client's needs.
- Has excellent stakeholder management skills and can communicate advanced concepts clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Is interested in driving forward the potential for adding more process skill and more data skill within the delivery of legal services to delight our clients.
- Has experience of marketing and promoting data, design and/or technology solutions to clients and the wider market.
