Live-out Housekeeper
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented, child-friendly Housekeeper for a newly renovated, well maintained family home in Wimbledon. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the main house and surrounding areas are kept to an exceptional standard.
This is a live-out role for someone passionate about cleanliness, order, and delivering consistently high standards. The family are specific and particular in their requirements, so attention to detail, reliability, and a calm, discreet demeanour is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a background in high-standard housekeeping — yacht experience is highly desirable — and take pride in maintaining a pristine and well-organised home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and all living spaces
- Laundry and ironing to a high standard, including care for delicate and designer clothing
- Changing bed linens and towels
- Organising wardrobes and household items
- Occasional childcare support (eg staying late when parents are unavailable)
- Pet-friendly support (two dogs)
- Regular deep cleaning and seasonal turnover of the house
- Looking for a long-term position with a lovely family
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong experience in private households
- Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
- Proactive, trustworthy, and adaptable
- A driving licence is a bonus but not essential
- Flexibility to stay late on occasion is appreciated
Salary : dependent on experience
Hours : Monday–Friday, 8.30am-6.30pm
Start Date : December 2025
