Salary: £23,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only (40 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (No weekends)
We are currently recruiting for a Cook to join our friendly and fast-paced catering team at Elthorne Park High School, a vibrant secondary school and sixth form with over 1,600 students on site.
In this rewarding and hands-on role, you will support the Chef Manager with the daily operations of the kitchen. You'll assist in preparing and serving breakfast and lunch meals to students and staff, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chef Manager in day-to-day kitchen duties and service delivery
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including MMB and lunch
- Guide and support kitchen team members as needed
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven cooking experience in a busy school or similar setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Ability to support and guide junior team members
