Campaign Executive
Spotlight Sports Group is a global media and technology company specialising in content and data within sports betting, horse racing and fantasy sports. With over 400 employees, the group operates multiple award-winning brands, including Racing Post, the world’s largest horse racing affiliate, Pickswise, myracing and Free Super Tips. We partner with leading operators across the betting industry to produce and build multilingual, best-in-class digital products and content to engage and educate customers. ICS-digital, an international marketing agency including ICS-translate, also operates under the group.
Role purpose:
Be the central point to manage campaigns throughout the business, leading the alignment between all areas of Marketing as well as working closely with the Commercial and Editorial teams. Reporting into the Senior Campaigns Manager, you will primarily support the Marketing Team in driving new customer account acquisition and betting conversion across all Spotlight Sports Group Channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, getting involved in a broad range of communication channels and gain exposure across different marketing departments and activities including CRM, Campaigns, Affiliate Operations, Social Media and Video Production.
Accountabilities:
Stakeholder management will be key and you will also work closely with the editorial team, internal design, content marketing, commercial stakeholders and product team to ensure that we deliver flawless marketing activations. A further focus of the role is to ensure our marketing campaigns support revenue goals on a rolling basis.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to help create and execute overarching internal marketing campaigns
- Spend time with each marketing department (Campaigns, Affiliate Operations, CRM, Social & Video) to understand how each of these helps the business goals
- Plan, schedule and execute detailed marketing plans around the key festivals with a main focus on Cheltenham, Aintree, and Royal Ascot
- Support the Senior Campaigns Exec and Manager to plan, create, coordinate and deliver core marketing campaigns for Racing Post
- Support the CRM team to help deliver regular and high quality communications via email and via the Racing Post app
- Support the Social Media Team to produce and create content which engages our growth audience
- Support the video production team by creating content and graphics. Delivering to a variety of deadlines, driving conversation, reacting to and optimising key moments
- Learn how to deliver flawless execution of Racing Post marketing campaigns across all key media channels
- Perform regular QA of all journeys for customers across all Racing Post products
- Analyse the results of marketing activity to help guide future improvement of campaigns for revenue-driving channels
- Become adept at performing tasks within the above areas to offer cover for annual leave whilst building a holistic view and experience of all types of work within the marketing function
- This role includes some weekend work around big events
Requirements
- Sports knowledge and understanding of sports betting
- An understanding or interest in horse racing would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and a commitment to collaborate with people
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Highest level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
