The role in brief
This KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering daily phonics, guided reading and early maths as the KS1 Teacher , ensuring high expectations and strong progress. The KS1 Teacher will engage with parents, run interventions and take part in school life from January 2026 . The appointed KS1 Teacher will be included in pre-term planning, attend induction during January 2026, and teach as a Full-Time KS1 Teacher from January 2026 .

• QTS and demonstrable KS1 experience as a KS1 Teacher .
• Strong phonics practice and the ability to communicate effectively as the KS1 Teacher .

KS1 Teacher – practical & start details
This is a Full-Time KS1 Teacher vacancy with a January 2026start. The KS1 Teacher will receive induction in early January 2026 and on-going CPD beyond January 2026. The Full-Time KS1 Teacher will have protected planning time and will be fully supported by phase and senior leaders through January 2026 and into the rest of the school year.
