📋 The Role

As an Accounts Semi Senior , you’ll play a key role in the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients. Working closely with senior team members and partners, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of industries, complex client structures, and the latest cloud-based systems.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Management accounts and bookkeeping duties using systems such as Xero and QuickBooks

• Preparation of corporate and personal tax computations

• Liaising directly with clients to gather records, resolve queries, and build relationships

• Supporting senior team members with ad hoc advisory projects

• Assisting with process improvements and ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance

🎯 About You

• Currently studying or part-qualified ACA / ACCA

• 2+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice

• Confident in preparing accounts and tax returns for SMEs

• Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience

• Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to grow in a supportive environment
