Purpose of the role

Provide support to sales team; Handle administrative tasks to allow the sales team to focus on selling activities; Collaborate with sales and other departments to achieve best outcome for clients. Specific tasks include:

  • Ensuring quotes/bids to orders are processed in a timely manner so that there are no missed opportunities.
  • This includes project feasibility assessment, pricing & generating contracts
  • Managing invoice schedules and requests with finance

Responsibilities & Performance Indicators

1) Seamless support

• Support sales team in day-to-day activities such as:

• Participate in client discovery/project requirement calls.

• Brainstorm with reps on solutions for client requirements.

• Work on providing multiple options of bundle/license package pricing.

• Providing accurate & timely costs for all adhoc projects / client briefs

• Run Incidence Rate checks for clients

• A strong customer service orientation towards client first to ensure overall success.

2) Attention to detail and ability to problem solve

• Accuracy, time management and ability to work under tight timelines.

3) Collaboration with Internal teams

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams.

• Maintain accurate information internally and externally for client use i.e. Clients contracts, credit usage and tracking where required.

Required Experience

  • Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint proficiency essential
  • 1-2 years of experience in a B2B environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment with the need to prioritise effectively and react in a timely manner to client demand.
  • Proficiency in advanced applications of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of the Market Research industry and how clients in this space work (i.e. their challenges) is desirable but not essential.

Skills

  • Excel Proficiency: ability to create formulas and percentage calculations.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic maths proficiency, ability to calculate percentages and interpret data.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consultative Approach: Positive attitude and ability to provide a tailored approach to client request, using your knowledge to create custom solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams and ability to articulate the Toluna value proposition
  • Detail-Oriented: Accuracy in logging information, preparing bids, and invoicing.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Success-driven with the ability to be flexible and self-motivated.
  • Growth mindset to continuously develop skills and knowledge including participating in Toluna training as required.
