On behalf of a leading specialist construction and engineering business, we’re looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead to drive technical excellence and robust design solutions for a high profile and high value infrastructure project.

You will lead high value packages of work with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure cost-effective, compliant project delivery across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. You must have extensive experience on complex infrastructure projects.
This is an ideal role for a strategic thinker who is a strong leader and has a passion for technical excellence and commercial impact. • Mentor engineers, designers, and technicians, building technical capability across the division.
  • Champion innovation in BIM integration, and digital engineering tools.

Leadership Impact:
• Shape the technical culture of the project.
• Oversee the full technical lifecycle from design to final bolt-up.
• Ensure quality and compliance in fabrication, welding, and on-site erection.
• Promote safety-first thinking in every design and installation decision.

Skills and experience required:
• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related discipline) with Chartered status (CEng, MIStructE, or equivalent) preferred.
• Extensive experience in fabrication, welding, and site installation on major infrastructure projects
• Proven success in integrating technical excellence with commercial strategy.
• Strong understanding of buildability, temporary works, and erection sequencing.
• Deep knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety leadership.
• Expertise in project management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement as well as excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
