We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic and supportive Bid Management Team at Computacenter, based in Hatfield or London on a permanent basis.

At Computacenter, our Bid Management Team provides a structured and professional service across the business, ensuring every bid follows our internal processes and best practices. From initial planning to final submission, we deliver compelling, compliant, and customer-centric documentation that meets and exceeds expectations.
As a Bid Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this process—organising team activities, managing timelines, and facilitating the creation of industry-leading bid submissions and presentations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, ensuring every element of the bid is aligned, accurate, and impactful.
What you’ll do
  • Lead the planning and coordination of bid projects, including defining bid teams, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Manage internal communications across the bid team and wider stakeholders, working closely with the bid opportunity owner to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of virtual bid teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs and effective task management.
  • Monitor and track internal and external deadlines, ensuring all contributions are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
  • Take ownership of bid documentation processes, including setting up and maintaining structured filing systems, naming conventions, and responsibilities.
  • Manage the bid collaboration portal to support efficient document sharing and collaborative working.
  • Compile and tailor proposal content, integrating both standard and customised materials to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all bid documents and presentations, aligning with the bid narrative and client expectations.
  • Support the closure of bid projects by contributing to knowledge management and updating bid content libraries for future use.
With the support of a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager (as required), you will also:
  • Contribute to the development of compelling bid strategies by helping to document key differentiators, win themes, and core messaging for proposals and presentations.
  • Assist in the execution of customer-specific campaigns, coordinating with marketing to ensure brand consistency and alignment with Computacenter’s visual and messaging standards
What you’ll need
You’ll need to be driven and able to communicate effectively and persuasively with stakeholders from entry level all the way up to c-suite. You’ll need to be self-motivated who can manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good academic or vocational qualifications
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written – credible at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent command of the English language – both written and verbal
  • Ability to find and use multiple sources of data
  • Experience in unsupervised completion of administration or coordination tasks
