Delivery PM, Data Workstream, Insurance Transformation -...
Location: London hybrid
Assignment: June into early 2027
Vantage Point is partnering with a leading consultancy to support a major finance and enterprise data transformation programme within the insurance sector.
The programme will modernise finance capabilities, improve the quality and availability of enterprise data, and implement new technology and data platforms across the organisation.
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Project Manager to lead disciplined, outcome-focused delivery across the Data Workstream. You will coordinate activity across multiple delivery pods, maintain control of the integrated plan, and ensure that programme milestones are met with the right level of quality, governance and business validation.
The Role
Working across business, data, technology and systems implementation teams, you will establish a clear delivery rhythm and maintain visibility of progress, dependencies, risks and decisions.
This role requires a hands-on delivery professional who can operate within a complex programme while remaining close to the detail. You will challenge teams constructively, remove blockers and ensure that deliverables meet agreed completion and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day delivery activity across multiple data workstream pods.
Track progress against the delivery plan, sprint commitments and release milestones.
Establish clear deliverables, ownership and definitions of done.
Build and maintain the integrated workstream plan, including milestones, critical path activity and cross-workstream dependencies.
Identify and manage dependencies across Data, Finance, Technology, business teams and the systems implementation partner.
Maintain the workstream RAID log and drive the timely resolution of risks, issues, actions and blockers.
Produce clear, outcome-focused reporting for programme governance forums and senior stakeholders.
Prepare materials for working groups, status meetings and programme governance sessions.
Review and quality-assure workstream deliverables for completeness, accuracy and business validation.
Support sprint planning and ensure delivery remains aligned to programme release plans.
Provide pace, structure and challenge across the workstream while maintaining strong working relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Strong Project Manager or Delivery Manager with experience delivering large-scale data or technology transformation programmes.
Demonstrable experience managing complex delivery plans, dependencies, milestones and critical paths.
Strong governance, reporting and RAID management capability.
Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams, pods or workstreams.
Confidence working with senior business, data and technology stakeholders.
Experience managing systems integrators, consultancies or other external delivery partners.
Strong delivery assurance skills, with the ability to assess whether outputs are complete, validated and ready to progress.
Experience working within agile delivery environments and supporting sprint-based delivery.
Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable delivery management tools would be beneficial.
Insurance, financial services or wider regulated industry experience would be advantageous.
You’ll Be a Strong Fit If You Can
Bring control and momentum to a complex delivery environment.
Move comfortably between detailed delivery activity and senior-level reporting.
Challenge missed commitments while maintaining effective working relationships.
Spot delivery risks early and take action before they affect programme milestones.
Keep multiple teams focused on outcomes, ownership and completion.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to play a central role in a major finance and data transformation programme within the insurance sector.
You will work alongside experienced consultancy, business and technology teams, helping to deliver new data capabilities that support wider finance transformation and organisational decision-making.
