Nouveau Private Staffing is seeking an experienced, proactive Housekeeper for a private household, offering an exceptional salary for a three-day working week.

With a salary of £35,000+ per annum for just 24 hours per week, this is an attractive opportunity for an accomplished housekeeper looking for excellent remuneration, a manageable working schedule and the potential to develop their career within a private household. The salary is negotiable for an outstanding candidate.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the home to an exceptional standard, overseeing everything from detailed housekeeping and laundry to cooking, wardrobe management and the day-to-day organisation of the property.

This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and knows how to run a home exceptionally well. The family values initiative, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs without constant direction. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, identifying what needs attention and ensuring every aspect of the household is taken care of.

There is also genuine long-term potential, with the opportunity to progress into a Head Housekeeper position as the household’s requirements evolve.

The Role
- Maintaining the home to an impeccable standard through detailed housekeeping and cleaning.
- Preparing fresh, well-presented meals with confidence.
- Managing laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation, including the careful handling of clothing.
- Overseeing household supplies and ensuring essentials are replenished.
- Managing ad hoc errands and day-to-day household tasks.
- Anticipating the family’s requirements and taking initiative to keep the household running seamlessly.
- Providing flexible, hands-on support as required.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within a private household.
- Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills.
- Confident cooking ability and an understanding of well-presented meals.
- Experience with wardrobe management and clothing care.
- Exceptionally organised, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Naturally proactive, resourceful and comfortable working independently.
- Discreet, trustworthy and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Interested in a long-term position with scope for professional progression.

Salary: £35,000+ per annum/ £28+ Per Hour, negotiable for the right candidate
