EYFS Teacher | Richmond
Would you like to teach Early Years on a meaningful part-time timetable in a Richmond primary and still be fully involved in CPD from January 2026? This EYFS Teacher vacancy begins January 2026 and is ideal for a reflective practitioner who wants high impact teaching hours while participating in whole-school planning and training scheduled from January 2026. The successful EYFS Teacher will prepare provision before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 in a part-time capacity as the EYFS Teacher.
A week in the life - EYFS Teacher
Mornings: the EYFS Teacher leads systematic phonics, story time and focused adult-led maths activities as the EYFS Teacher. Afternoons: the EYFS Teacher completes observations, plans next steps and meets with parents as the EYFS Teacher. The EYFS Teacher will be fully included in weekly phase planning and CPD days beginning in January 2026 and will contribute to transition planning into Reception as the EYFS Teacher.
EYFS Teacher Responsibilities
The EYFS Teacher will design indoor and outdoor continuous provision as the EYFS Teacher; deliver high-quality adult-led sessions and scaffold play as the EYFS Teacher; identify children’s next steps through focused observation and assessment as the EYFS Teacher. The EYFS Teacher will liaise with the Reception Teacher and inclusion staff to ensure smooth transitions and will prepare resources prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the EYFS Teacher.
EYFS Teacher Requirements
We are seeking an EYFS Teacher with QTS/EYTS or equivalent, demonstrable early years expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. Availability for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and a part-time start in January 2026 is required.
