Maternity Nurse

An experienced Daily Maternity Nurse is required in St John's Wood, London, for a four-day booking, with the possibility of regular future work with the same family.

Job Summary
A family in St John's Wood are looking for a warm, experienced and flexible Daily Maternity Nurse to care for their three-month-old baby girl while Mum is travelling for work. Grandma will be at home, and the role is primarily to provide her with additional support and take responsibility for the baby's care throughout the day. The family follow a relaxed, baby-led approach, with no strict feeding or sleeping routine, and would love someone who is comfortable working in this way. Baby enjoys plenty of cuddles, interaction and attention, and the family would appreciate gentle encouragement with cot naps rather than always being held. As Mum will be travelling regularly for work, she is hoping to establish an ongoing relationship with the same Maternity Nurse for future bookings.

Job Specification
• Provide attentive daily care for the baby.
• Manage feeds, nappy changes and settling.
• Support the family's relaxed, baby-led approach.
• Encourage gentle cot settling and independent naps.
• Provide plenty of interaction, cuddles and age-appropriate play.
• Work alongside Grandma, providing practical support and reassurance.
• Maintain continuity of care for potential future bookings.
