This exciting opportunity as UK Retail Manager involves leading the charge for our retail business's success. A fantastic chance to really boost our retail business and build on what we've already accomplished.
You'll be a leader and coach to our boutique and concession managers, directly managing the UK retail teams. You’ll ensure effective communication and goal achievement through regular store visits and individual 1:1s. You will also oversee an Area Manager and work closely with Retail Operations and Brand Marketing teams, offering valuable insights to head office based on the store teams' experience.You’ll view decisions through the lens of our store management teams and provide feedback to the relevant head office teams.
What you’ll do
Commercial
⦁ Maximise UK retail sales performance, keeping a close eye on KPIs and actively seeking ways to improve
⦁ Lead the financial management of UK retail locations, controlling costs and driving growth within budgets
⦁ Support our Boutique and Concession managers to drive sales and achieve targets using incentive based and performance management tools as required
⦁ Work strategically with the GM, Global retail to execute the retail strategy, drive retail initiatives and deliver store openings
⦁ Utilise data analysis to evaluate performance and strategically identify opportunities for growth
People Management
⦁ Lead a team of Area Manager, Boutique and Concession Managers, ensuring all locations are delivering to the highest standards of service in line with business values and addressing any issues as they arise
⦁ Development of our retail teams, supporting their personal development through 1:1s, coaching and regular performance reviews for direct reports and ensuring they are coaching and developing their team members to achieve performance goals
⦁ Guide, train, coach and support the Boutique and Concession Managers in their roles and ensure all aspects of the Boutique and Concession are being managed effectively in line with policies and procedures
⦁ Carry out regular store visits, engaging with the teams to provide real time feedback to stakeholders as required
⦁ Provide guidance and support with Employee Relations issues working with the People and Culture Team to actively address escalations
⦁ Identify recruitment needs across the UK Retail network, succession plan for growth and support with the recruitment process for retail roles as required
Communication
⦁ Establish clear and timely communication channels with the UK retail team, ensuring initiatives are understood and implemented confidently.
⦁ Provide hands-on coaching and consistent feedback to foster development and drive high performance.
⦁ Lead the planning and execution of annual manager meetings
Clienteling and Events
⦁ Proactively identify opportunities for the UK retail activation calendar, working with the Retail Marketing Team to plan and guide the Boutique and Concession Managers to execute event & partnership opportunities
⦁ Plan and execute a commercial approach to clienteling, reviewing data regularly to refine approach and drive repeat business
Operations
⦁ Ensure weekly and monthly operational tasks are executed to deadline across UK retail locations
⦁ Support the teams to drive inventory accuracy results, providing on the job training support where needed to drive improvement and completing ad hoc checks when required
⦁ Implement operational procedures and check compliance across retail locations as directed by Head of Global Retail Operations
⦁ Responsible for ensuring all locations are adequately staffed with absence and annual leave effectively managed
⦁ Ensure policy compliance across all UK retail employees
Training
⦁ Work with the Retail Training Manager to support the delivery of all training and initiatives, ensuring compliance from UK retail locations
⦁ Ensure the teams are trained to deliver a customer obsessed approach at all times
⦁ Proactively review the selling process and identify lost conversion opportunities, feeding back to the Commercial team to drive improvements
What you’ll bring
⦁ Experience in a multisite field based retail role
⦁ Exceptional experience in people management, natural at leading and coaching people, and you can handle any employee issues that pop up
⦁ Ability to coach and inspire others through your interactions and develop people in their retail role
⦁ You are a people person, a brand ambassador and find it easy to build rapport and relationships
⦁ You know how and when to flex your management style to get the best out of any situation
⦁ You're good with data, KPIs, and budgets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data quickly
⦁ You have an eye for detail and a commercial mindset with a track record of improving sales and profitability and managing budgets.
⦁ You're proactive, solution-oriented, and can handle a fast-paced environment
⦁ Flexible and adaptable approach with an ability to collaborate across all levels
⦁ Ability to travel frequently throughout the UK

Additional Requirements
Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
Weekend working may be required.
