We have a fabulous opportunity to join Sanderson in our Housekeeping team as a General Attendant.

Job Description



As a General Attendant you will strive to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their designated area/floors and duties in accordance to the hotel housekeeping standards.

  • Ensure all work areas are fully stocked and tidy during your shift.
  • Ensure correct disposal of all rubbish from the floors and areas.
  • Record all serviced rooms on worksheet. Report and record any rooms that cannot be serviced.
  • Dispose of all rubbish and dirty linen correctly, following department procedures.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used and stored correctly. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition and report faults immediately.
  • Create and maintain a personal respectful rapport with all guests. Deal with their requirements and enquiries. Handling guest complaints promptly and with thorough follow up, referring to others when necessary.
  • Follow key signing procedures and take responsibility for assigned keys.
  • Hand in all lost property immediately and follow the lost property procedure.
  • Assist in special cleaning projects as required. Ensure that the hotel linen is treated correctly in accordance with the Housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure that all guest property is handled in an efficient and correct manner.

Qualifications



To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would an advantage however full training is provided.

  • You function best in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge.

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Flexibility in working hours is required.
