Full-Time Nanny Wanted – Countryside Role with Travel & Baby Cuddles Live-out (with option to stay over during the week) | Monday–Friday | Long-term role

Mortimer Nannies is looking for a wonderful, experienced nanny to join a kind and welcoming family based in the Hampshire countryside — commutable from Farnham, Winchester, Basingstoke and surrounding areas (own car essential).

This is a live-out, full-time position (9am–7pm, Monday to Friday) caring for two lovely children — a bright, creative school-aged girl and her younger sibling, currently in the baby stage.

The role offers a great mix of daily care, routine, creativity and adventure — from tummy time and storybooks to school projects and outdoor fun. You’ll also have the chance to travel occasionally with the family. There’s usually one overnight per week in London during term time, and other overnights when parents are travelling.

If you’re coming from a little further afield, the family is happy to offer accommodation during the week to help with early starts and long days.

The ideal nanny will be:
• Experienced with babies – confident with feeding, routines and play
• Engaging and intelligent – enjoys reading, chatting and encouraging curious minds
• Creative and fun-loving – happy to get stuck into arts and crafts and imaginative play
• A confident cook – fresh, nutritious meals from scratch are the norm in this house
• Outdoorsy – someone who enjoys time in the garden and countryside
• Organised and tidy – you love systems, routines and helping children learn independence
• A team player – this is a sole-charge role but part of a busy household with other staff and hands-on parents
• Flexible for travel and overnights – a mix of weekday London nights and occasional holiday travel
• Polished when needed – day-to-day is less formal, but you’re confident in more formal settings when required
• Discreet and professional – present when needed, but happy to give the family space
• Looking for a long-term role – ideally a career nanny ready to grow with the family
• A confident driver with own car – essential due to rural location

Location: Rural Hampshire – commutable from Farnham, Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton and nearby
Start: ASAP or flexible for the right person
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–7pm + weekly babysitting + approx. one overnight per week
