As a Business Development Representative in the BNGAI team, you will be part of the UK sales function working across developers, housebuilders, infrastructure owners, ecology consultancies, local planning authorities, and water utilities.

The Role

We're looking for a driven and resourceful business development representative  to accelerate BNGAI’s growth in the UK market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll work across developers, housebuilders, infrastructure owners, ecology consultancies, local planning authorities, and water utilities to build a pipeline, open doors with key decision-makers, and generate qualified introductory meetings across our target markets.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, is comfortable using automation and software tools to work at scale, and enjoys seeing the direct commercial results of their efforts. You'll play a key part in shaping how the BD function operates within the BNGAI team, with real scope to grow as the business scales.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting across cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels to engage target accounts in the development, infrastructure, ecology, and environmental consultancy sectors
  • Research accounts, contacts, and industry developments to personalize messaging and identify the most relevant entry points into each organization
  • Leverage automation tools, AI assisted outreach platforms, and sales engagement software to maximize efficiency and scale prospecting efforts without sacrificing personalization
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their business priorities, environmental compliance obligations, and fit for BNGAI’s solutions before booking meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce to support pipeline reporting, follow up, and CRM hygiene
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and Account Executives on target account lists, campaign messaging, and follow-up strategies
  • Represent BNGAI at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across the environmental, planning, and development sectors
  • Track performance metrics, analyze results, and continuously refine your approach to improve conversion rates and outreach effectiveness

What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ year of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a similar outbound-focused role, ideally in B2B SaaS, technology, or professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect through phone, email, and LinkedIn with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), sales engagement tools (e.g. Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience with or strong enthusiasm for using automation, AI tools, and software to streamline and scale outbound workflows
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of outreach and follow-up activities
  • A self starter mentality with resilience, coachability, and a genuine drive to succeed
  • Ability to learn complex products quickly and translate technical value propositions into relevant, engaging conversations

What you'll love:

  • Competitive base salary plus performance based variable compensation
  • Scope to shape and define the BD function within the BNGAI team, with clear pathways for career progression.
  • Direct exposure to enterprise sales cycles, senior decision makers, and complex deal structures
  • A product that genuinely makes a difference, helping organizations meet their biodiversity and environmental obligations through technology
  • Hybrid working arrangement with a central London office
  • Generous pension contribution scheme

Tools you'll leverage:

  • Salesforce (CRM)
  • Apollo.io and sales engagement platforms
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • AI-assisted prospecting and email personalization tools
  • Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools

Location and work model:

  • This is a hybrid role based out of the AiDASH office in central London. Some travel across the UK will be required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences (typically up to 20%).

We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We are committed to embracing diversity and inclusion in our hiring practices, and we promote a work environment where everyone, from any race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, can do their best work.

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible interview experience for all candidates. Please let us know if you require any accommodation during the interview process, and we will make every effort to meet your needs.
