Position Overview [Remote, Hourly]
We are seeking an exceptional UK Independent School Entrance Exam Tutor to support students applying for 11+, 13+, and 16+ entry to leading UK independent schools. You will deliver high-impact academic preparation for ISEB Pre-Test, CAT4, UKiset, and school-specific entrance exams, working closely with Crimson’s admissions strategists to ensure academic tutoring aligns with each student’s wider admissions pathway.
UK Entrance Exam Tutor is a fully remote, contract/hourly position.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised, high-quality tutoring for UK entrance exams (11+/13+/16+)
Prepare students for ISEB Pre-Test, CAT4, UKiset, and school-specific assessments
Identify academic gaps and design tailored learning plans for each student
Develop students’ exam technique, confidence, and independent study skills
Track progress and provide clear, actionable feedback to families and consultants
Collaborate with Crimson admissions consultants to align academic prep with application timelines
Maintain a premium client experience through professional, proactive communication
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience tutoring UK private school entrance exams (11+, 13+, or 16+)
Strong working knowledge of ISEB Pre-Test, CAT4, and/or UKiset
Experience working with international or high-performing students
Excellent communication skills and a student-first mindset
Comfortable working remotely and managing a flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications
UK teaching qualification or strong academic background from the UK system
Experience supporting applications to highly selective UK schools
Familiarity with school-specific entrance exams and interview preparation
Experience working alongside admissions consultants or education advisors
Familiarity with UK independent school admissions processes and academic planning
