Full Stack Developer (Mid-Weight)
With a friendly team of over 85 people based in beautiful offices in between Old Street and Shoreditch High Street, we are backed by some of the industry’s leading investors including Channel 4, Seedcamp and 500 Startups.
Together, we are transforming the experience of selling your home.
Role Overview
We are GetAgent, a disruptor in the PropTech space and the leading estate agency comparison site. Through transparency and data, our aim is to provide a straightforward and pain-free solution to the most stressful process a homeowner can undergo; selling their property.
We analyse millions of property listings each year to create an objective measure of estate agent performance. Using our platform, homeowners can sell quicker and achieve a better price. We’re on a mission to make home-selling even easier and the tech team is at the forefront of making this a reality, from executing improvements to our front-end UX, to adding new features and tools and building new products.
We're looking for a mid-level full stack developer to join our cross-functional Growth team, which includes developers, designers, and product managers working across core and new product, marketing and acquisition initiatives. The engineering team operates as a single unit led by a Lead Developer, comprising a senior developer, three mid-level and a junior.
What You'll be doing
You’ll be expected to manage end-to-end delivery of projects after an initial settling-in period (2–3 months), working across both front-end and back-end with a fairly even split. Strong problem-solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a product mindset will be key in this role. While people management isn’t required, collaboration is—this role involves regular interaction with teams across the wider Growth team, Customer Support, Operations, and Design, depending on the project.
We follow a bi-weekly sprint cadence with planning, retros, daily standups, and regular code reviews.
