Sales Associate, Medical Acute Care - South UK (North London)

Stryker
London

Location: North London & Greater London

At Stryker, we are driven to make healthcare better. We are now recruiting a Sales Associate to support our Medical Acute Care portfolio across North London and the Greater London area, working closely with experienced Sales Representatives in a high‑performing regional team.

This is a development-focused role designed to build the capabilities required to progress into a full Sales Representative position.

The Role

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting customer engagement, product education, and account activity across a defined territory. You will develop strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and contribute to commercial growth while maintaining an uncompromising focus on patient safety and ethical practice.

You will work alongside experienced sales professionals, gaining structured exposure to territory management, customer training, and the day‑to‑day running of hospital accounts.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop the core skills required to progress into an effective Sales Representative role

  • Support the management and growth of a defined sales territory in line with regional objectives

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with HCPs

  • Support customer education through in‑service training sessions and product demonstrations

  • Learn to plan and deliver training workshops on the use of Stryker products

  • Develop a strong understanding of hospital environments, including stock management, loan systems, and consignment models

  • Identify customer needs and support opportunities to ethically promote and recommend appropriate Stryker solutions

  • Provide a high level of service to an existing customer base, responding promptly and professionally to requests

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Representatives and the Regional Sales Manager to ensure best‑in‑class customer experience

  • Accurately record customer interactions and begin developing basic territory and activity planning skills

  • Always act with integrity, professionalism, and in full alignment with Stryker’s values and compliance standards

Patient care is our priority. You will always recommend solutions that are clinically appropriate and in the best interest of patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For
  • A degree, ideally in science or a healthcare-related subject (or equivalent work experience)

  • A full and valid UK driving licence

  • Previous exposure to hospital or theatre environments is advantageous but not essential

  • Strong ownership mindset with a proactive and customer‑focused approach

  • Comfortable working in a field-based role with variable working hours

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and modern presentation tools

  • Interest in anatomy, physiology, and medical technology

  • Ability to communicate clearly, present confidently, and deliver training or demonstrations

  • Evidence of resilience, motivation, and a strong work ethic

Why Join Stryker?

At Stryker, you’ll join a purpose‑driven organisation that values talent, teamwork, and personal development. We invest in our people and provide the support, training, and exposure needed to build a long‑term career in medical sales.
