Finance Roles

Parkinson’s UK is delighted to be partnering with Altum Consulting on a significant finance recruitment campaign as the Operations directorate enters the next stage of its transformation. As part of this campaign, Parkinson’s UK is seeking to fill the following finance roles:

• Finance Systems Lead (FTC to June 2028) - Lead the procurement and implementation of a new core finance system.

• Senior Management Accountant - Lead on management accounting, financial reporting and process improvement across the charity.

• Finance Business Partner (x3) - Be a strategic advisor and trusted partner to your business areas providing high-quality financial analysis and insight.

Parkinson’s UK funds vital research, campaigns for better care and provides support to people affected by Parkinson’s. The charity is in a fortunate position within the sector, with secure funding and the ability to invest in its people, systems and longer-term ambitions in order to best support those affected by Parkinson’s.

Following a major directorate restructure that began last year, the most substantial changes have already taken place. The focus is now on building a strong, collaborative finance team, improving systems and processes, and supporting the delivery of an ambitious five-year strategy.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive leadership team at a point when new colleagues will have a genuine say in how the finance function develops, without having to navigate the uncertainty of the initial restructure.

These are broad roles that will contribute to helping Finance become a more proactive partner to the wider organisation. Successful candidates for these roles will have a real opportunity to shape the development of financial systems, insights and processes at Parkinson’s UK.
