HENI is an international art services business working with leading artists and estates across printmaking, marketplaces for physical artworks, NFTs, publishing, digital, video production, art research and analysis. The Role
We are seeking Client Liaisons (similar job titles include Client Relationship Executive, Sales Development Representatives, Business Development Associates) who have strong social skills, are hardworking, and have an interest in the art market.
You must have a passion for sales and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in this field. We are looking for bright, outgoing and organised professionals - who are comfortable contacting clients through email/phone as well as handling a variety of administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for people with foundational sales experience and an interest in developing their sales skills, in a creative and dynamic environment. The focus is following up on warm leads - you'll be developing relationships with existing customers and with potential customers who have expressed an interest. You'll be responsible for driving sales growth while providing exceptional customer service to art enthusiasts and collectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in all aspects of client liaison and the sales process - from onboarding new clients, to processing orders, to invoicing and shipping.
- Generate new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, and relationship building
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and repeat buyers
- Present and promote our products and services to potential buyers
- Provide expert customer service and support throughout the entire sales process
- Support our customer care team with inquiries and service requests
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems - of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Produce comprehensive reports to assess sales performance, identifying learnings and opportunities to optimise processes
- Collaborate with the management team to establish and track monthly sales targets based on business and external opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least 1 year of sales, business development, or client services experience
- Confident and articulate communication skills
- Natural ability to build rapport and connect with diverse customers
- Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving skills
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Empathetic and attentive, skilled at listening and building trust-based relationships
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly
Desirable (but not essential):
- Interest in or appreciation for art and creative industries
- Additional language skills
- Prior sales experience in luxury and/or high value goods industries
