THE TEAM

Join the culinary team at The Chancery Rosewood, working closely with our Chef de Partie, Sous Chef and fellow colleagues to deliver exceptional standards across our kitchen operation. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where teamwork, respect, continuous learning and pride in our craft are at the heart of every service.

YOUR ROLE

As a Commis Chef , you’ll support the senior culinary team in the efficient running of your assigned kitchen section, helping us deliver the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service. You’ll work collaboratively across the kitchen and wider hotel, bringing Rosewood’s “Sense of Place” philosophy to life through attention to detail, professionalism and a genuine passion for delivering excellence.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Prepare and deliver dishes in line with recipes and technical sheets, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and presentation.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily tasks and assignments, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of your section.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, following HACCP, food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Build strong knowledge of menu allergens and ingredients, helping us deliver a safe and considered experience for every guest.
• Inspect ingredient deliveries for quality, accuracy and quantity, taking pride in the standards behind every dish we serve.
• Bring enthusiasm and a collaborative approach to every service, supporting colleagues across the kitchen while continually developing your culinary knowledge and skills.
