This is a Hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our London Farringdon office 2-3 days per week, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Product Specification, you will be responsible for managing the development and specification of both new and existing Commercial products. You will play a key role in shaping product development, ensuring robust specifications are in place to support operational delivery and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Product Specification Managers across the product landscape with development activities.
- Act as a subject matter expert in defining business specifications for new products and services.
- Lead the specification of business services for both replacement solutions and new offerings.
- Develop and define customer and commercial specifications, both internal and external.
- Analyse functional areas impacted by product changes and identify business opportunities and associated costs.
- Deliver future-state documentation, including assumptions, role impact reviews, and business cases.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure structured delivery of product improvements and maintain a comprehensive set of specification designs.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience operating at a senior level in strategic business management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to evaluate options and determine solutions.
- Knowledge of International mail industry innovations and benchmarking practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Desirable Experience
- Extensive experience in mail operations or similar complex, distributed environments (e.g., logistics, utilities, manufacturing).
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end product design within Royal Mail or comparable logistics organisations.
