Design Director (Six-Month Contract) – Independent Creative Agency – To £75k Pro Rata – Central London / Hybrid

High-flying creative agency seeks proactive Design Director to work with global gaming giant.

The agency

This flourishing independent creative agency is on a major upward trajectory.

Working with some of the biggest brands in entertainment, they deliver groundbreaking creative executions across social media, streaming platforms, the Metaverse, OOH and IRL.

Now the agency is looking for an experienced Design Director to dedicate their time exclusively to its longest-standing client – one of the world’s most iconic names in gaming.

This six-month contract, due to begin in March / April, is very likely to extend.

The Design Director opportunity

The agency and its client are looking for a proactive and imaginative Design Director who combines practical design expertise with strategic creative vision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling concepts, product storyboarding, creating high-quality pitch materials, presenting ideas with confidence and providing guidance to creative partners as necessary.

The essentials

• Experience in an in-house creative team or agency setting
• Expert-level 3D capability, with strong motion design and art skills; focused on concept visualization and creative representation versus production execution
• Experience with 3D rendering applications (KeyShot, Cinema 4D)
• Strong knowledge of 3D workflows
• Informed on cultural, social and design trends to ensure work remains current and audience focused
• A passion for gaming, entertainment, popular culture or technology

Work from home policy

This role is hybrid with three fixed days in the agency’s Central London office each week and two from home.

Salary and benefits

To £75k pro rata with a range of good hard and soft benefits including early Friday finishes.
