Role: Commercial Marketing Analyst
Reporting to: Senior Revenue Manager Based: Hybrid - Clapham Junction (3 days a week in the office / 2 days from home) Here at The Gym Group we believe we are simply the best in our industry! We're looking for a Commercial Marketing Analyst to join our high-performing Marketing team and help drive smarter, data-led decisions across our business. You'll work across CRM, media, channel performance and budgeting - helping us better understand our customers, optimise spend, and unlock growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, collaborating with multiple teams, and turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. What you'll be doing...- Analyse CRM data to support smarter targeting, customer retention and engagement strategies
- Build frameworks to track and improve brand awareness and consideration
- Work with Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) data to guide smarter budget allocation and improve marketing ROI
- Assess media spend effectiveness and help shape data-driven channel strategies
- Partner with the web analytics team to evaluate and optimise channel mix performance (paid and owned)
- Deliver regular dashboards and one-off deep dives to inform decisions across the marketing team
- Support audience segmentation and personalisation efforts to boost campaign performance
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills - you know how to manipulate data and get to insights fast
- 4+ years' experience in commercial, marketing or data analytics
- Proven ability to turn data into meaningful insights that drive commercial outcomes
- Experience with MMM , channel mix analysis and media effectiveness modelling
- Solid understanding of statistics , A/B testing and regression techniques
- Familiarity with GA4 and Power BI is a bonus
- A degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics , or a related field
- Meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- A great communicator, able to share complex ideas simply
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile team
