Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team in Harrow. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality care to a variety of patients.
Location : Harrow, Greater London
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : Ongoing
Shifts : Full-time, Monday Friday (4-5 days per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to animals and support their owners.
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor and manage the recovery of patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the veterinary practice.
- Educate pet owners on post-operative care and general health management.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexibility to work full-time shifts, with the option of 4-5 days per week.
