Role Overview

We are seeking a Business (Tech/Data) Analyst with a strong focus on technology and data to join a high-performing feature delivery team. The successful candidate will operate at the heart of solution delivery, bridging the gap between business change and technical implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver complex, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a Business Analyst within a technology-focused agile feature team.
• Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and demos.
• Collaborate with Business Change Analysts to understand and validate business requirements, user journeys, and UI/UX specifications.
• Perform technical analysis to translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define and document data/API integrations, including source systems, field mappings, and data flow logic.
• Liaise with internal tech teams and SMEs to define technical solutions aligned with architecture standards.
• Partner with developers and QA during the development and testing lifecycle, ensuring stories are build-ready and testable.
• Use tools like JIRA and Confluence for story documentation, backlog refinement, and tracking progress.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working as a Tech Business Analyst or Data Business Analyst in Agile environments.
• Strong exposure to data analysis, integration, and transformation projects.
• Experience working across the software development lifecycle and collaborating with development and architecture teams.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
• Experience in financial services or asset management is a plus.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with API documentation, data models, and solution design.
