Risk and Compliance Manager Not for Profit
The Risk and Compliance Manager will oversee and manage all risk and compliance activities within the not-for-profit sector, ensuring the organisation adheres to legal and regulatory requirements. This role is based in London and will suit an individual with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, UK charity experience is useful.

Description
- Develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures related to risk and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and trustees on compliance activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Support the organisation in embedding a culture of compliance and accountability.
Profile
A successful Risk and Compliance Manager should have:
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management and compliance within the not-for-profit sector.
- A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in the UK.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with staff and stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in legal, compliance, or risk management fields.
