We are now seeking a Lecturer in Applied Business Management (FdA Programme) to join our innovative academic team and play a key role in shaping the next generation of business leaders.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching at Levels 4 and 5, drawing on your academic and professional expertise.
  • Inspire students by bringing industry insights and applied learning into the classroom.
  • Support students’ academic, professional, and personal development through expert teaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, review, and continually improve a forward-thinking curriculum.
  • Use digital learning tools and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
  • Contribute to research, scholarship, or professional practice, maintaining your own subject expertise.
  • Play an active role in student recruitment, curriculum development, and industry engagement.

About You

  • Relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Industry experience in business, management, or hospitality to enrich student learning.
  • Experience in teaching, assessment, and curriculum development within Higher Education.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and student success.
  • Collaborative, engaged with industry, and keen to contribute to a vibrant academic community.
  • A teaching qualification and/or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy are desirable, but not essential.
