Geography Teacher | Camden | Outstanding Mixed School
An enthusiastic and well-informed Geography Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Camden. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the diversity of our planet and the interactions between people and places.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons covering both physical and human geography.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of key concepts.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity about the world and its challenges.
- Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and the creation of engaging resources.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Geography specialism.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts and contemporary issues.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of making geography relevant and engaging.
