Senior Python engineer
Job Description
Senior Python Backend Engineer – 100-110k- 3 days in London.
We’re working with a rapidly scaling marketplace They’re on the hunt for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to take ownership of core systems powering demand forecasting and stock optimisation.
🔧 Tech stack : Python, Pandas, GCP/AWS, CI/CD, Terraform
🧠 What you’ll do :
- Build forecasting models from the ground up
- Optimise stock movement across the supply chain
- Own features end-to-end & drive your own roadmap
- Work with cross-functional teams to ship real impact
✅ Must-haves :
- 5+ years Python experience
- Strong with cloud (AWS)
- Commercial data-focused backend systems
- Strong testing + version control habits
🎯 Bonus if you’ve touched: Terraform, React, TypeScript or Node
