Job Purpose
We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is keen to begin their career in a fast-paced and dynamic global organisation, within the Bureau team. The Bureau team forms part of the Technical Accounts function which is growing due to the expanding nature of our business. The role also encompasses the financial accounting aspects involved in and around the London Market, including central settlement, financial processes and procedures.

This is a full-time role based in our London office on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and shape Oneglobal’s growing international network of offices. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be proactive, able to multi-task and keen to develop their skillset and technical knowledge.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for London Market (Bureau) settlement and accounting
• Analysis of transactions to ensure any non-settled items are deferred
• Maintain the query log, inputting documented notes on outstanding issues and agreed actions
• Reconciliation of cash receipts and payments with accounting entries within agreed processes and deadlines
• Focus on client satisfaction, ensuring all ledgers are maintained and reconciled within agreed deadlines
• Resolve foreign currency and exchange issues
• Assist in the liaison with clients, markets and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries and resolutions are provided in a timely manner with a focus on client satisfaction
• Create both standard and ad-hoc accounting reports, as necessary
• Further ad-hoc duties as the department continues to establish and grow

Skills & Knowledge

• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Organised and able to prioritise/re-prioritise due to constantly changing circumstances
• Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Accurate and strong attention to detail, demonstrating the ability to deal effectively with various documentation and spotting discrepancies
• Excellent attitude and eagerness to develop in the role
