Year 4/5 Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4/5 Class Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and committed teacher to guide and support a mixed-age class of eager learners in the upper Key Stage 2 phase. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a Year 4/5 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across the Year 4 and 5 curriculum.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and plan next steps.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression.

• Contribute to school life, including extracurricular activities and community events.

Ideal Year 4/5 Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or interest in teaching mixed-age or upper KS2 classes.

• Excellent classroom management and strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

• A reflective practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.

• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset as a Year 4/5 Teacher.

• Passion for supporting all children to become confident, independent learners.
