As Social Media Manager for our hero products - The 1% Diary , Conversation Cards etc. - you’ll be responsible for turning brand equity into real-world impact through smart, social-first storytelling.
You’ll drive brand visibility, deepen community connection, and ultimately convert attention into action through creative campaigns, original content, and a deep understanding of culture. This is a role for someone who knows how to build a brand online, and understands that community is currency, content drives commerce, and attention must be earned daily.
Objectives
Build and Scale Product Brands Through Social
- Own and operate Flight Story’s social channels for The 1% Diary and Conversation Cards .
- Lead always-on content and campaign moments across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other key platforms.
- Shape and evolve the voice, identity, and content pillars of the product brands in line with audience interests and platform trends.
Drive Engagement, Loyalty & Community
- Design and execute campaigns that create conversation and build belonging around our product values — self-growth, connection, and reflection.
- Spotlight the community through UGC, street/event content, and customer storytelling.
- Use trend-driven content, cultural insights, and creative moments (e.g., dinner parties, street interviews) to keep the brand front-of-feed.
Deliver Results Through Creative Execution
- Collaborate with creative, performance, and production teams to execute social-first product shoots and content series.
- Drive sales through organic content that blends value, culture, and brand storytelling.
- Use data, insights, and AI tools to test, scale, and optimise content performance in real-time.

Ecommerce Awareness – You’ve worked on DTC or consumer brands and understand how to balance content with conversion.
Cultural Awareness – You keep your finger on the pulse of what’s trending, what’s relevant, and what makes people stop scrolling.
Creative Instincts – You bring fresh ideas to the table and know what makes something resonate visually and emotionally.
Executional Speed – You can work fast, react in real-time, and move from concept to publish without losing quality.
AI-Enhanced Workflow – You use AI tools to improve efficiency, scale content, and sharpen creative output.
Collaborative Mindset – You work cross-functionally to bring campaigns to life — across marketing, design, content, and performance.
What Success Looks Like
Within 6–12 months, you’ll have built a thriving social ecosystem around our core products, with:
- Significant growth across priority platforms
- Standout content moments that build both brand equity and product desires
- A clear voice, tone, and content strategy that turns passive followers into brand advocates
- Campaigns that deliver both reach and revenue, from viral moments to high-converting drops
Location - Shoreditch, London
- We are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.
- Some roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process
Interview Process

Phone Call with the Talent Team - You will share a call with our talent team who will answer any questions you have about the role, our business and any next steps.
1st Interview - This first stage will involve meeting your potential manager and team members.
2nd Stage Interview - Task - Through the task round you get an insight into the day to day responsibilities of the role and we get the opportunity to understand how you work.
Final Stage Interview - The final interview involves meeting a Senior Stakeholder in the business.
