Associate Assistant Headteacher Leading the Maths Department

Department: Mathematics Role Overview:
As Associate Assistant Headteacher leading the Maths Department, you will play a key role in driving excellence in teaching and learning within mathematics at Key Stage 4. You will support curriculum development, staff leadership, and student progress while contributing to whole-school improvement initiatives. Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in secondary education with proven success in delivering Key Stage 4 mathematics.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or leading teams.
- Excellent knowledge of the KS3 & KS4 maths curriculum including GCSE specifications.
- Ability to analyse data effectively to monitor student progress and inform teaching strategies.
- Outstanding communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and external partners.
