Onboarding Administrator
About the job
Flatpay is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintech companies and we've recently launched in the UK.
Role Details
Role:Â Onboarding Administrator Â
Location:Â 5 days a week â London, White City
About the Role
You'll spend your day verifying new merchant deals â ensuring that we onboard accurately first time, ultimately giving our customers a great first impression. If a process wasn't followed or data is incomplete, you'll catch it.
This is focused, deep-work admin that rewards pattern recognition. You'll be comfortable handling high volumes as we expand â 20 to 50 deals a day on average. The work suits people who genuinely find satisfaction in spotting what others miss and in getting through a long list cleanly.
You'll spend very little time on the phone with customers or in meetings. It's a role that allows for focus and flow rather than rapidly switching context.
Responsibilities
- Review 20â50 merchant onboarding cases daily
- Cross-check details across our CRM, signed contracts, and external registries (Companies House and similar)
- Flag inconsistencies, missing information, or anything that doesn't add up
- Keep records clean, tidy, and audit-ready
- Spot patterns â if the same issue keeps appearing, surface it so we can fix the upstream process
- Work to a daily volume target without sacrificing accuracy
Skills & Attributes
- Genuinely meticulous attention to detail â you're the person who notices the typo nobody else does
- Ability to stay focused on repetitive work for hours at a time without losing accuracy
- Strong pattern recognition â you'll quickly learn what a clean file looks like and spot what doesn't fit
- Comfortable working independently on a queue, with your own pace and rhythm
- Calm, methodical temperament â this role rewards consistency over speed-bursts
- Confident with screens and digital tools (we'll train you on ours)
Our Values
At Flatpay, how we work matters as much as what we achieve.
Happy Humans  â We bring energy to our work and create teams people enjoy being part of.
No Assholes  â We perform at a high level while treating colleagues and customers with respect.
It's Our Business, Own It  â Everyone takes responsibility and manages their work like it's their own business.
Start With No  â We challenge ideas, think commercially and focus on what truly creates value.
Sky-High Ambitions  â We set bold goals and expect people to keep raising the bar.
The Best Argument Wins  â Titles don't decide outcomes. We debate openly to reach the best decisions.
Background & Requirements
