Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Hillingdon, West London (Ample parking and great transport links via the Elizabeth Line/Piccadilly Line)
Curriculum: History across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level).
Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS).
The Opportunity
As a History specialist, you will inspire students to analyze evidence, challenge interpretations, and understand the complexities of the human experience. You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse and broad curriculum, ranging from Medieval power struggles to 20th-century global conflicts .
The department emphasizes critical thinking and literacy, helping students master the art of essay writing and historical inquiry. You will be part of a collaborative Humanities team that shares resources and best practices to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

A proven ability to deliver high-quality, research-led lessons at GCSE and A-Level .
A passion for diverse histories and a commitment to making the curriculum representative and engaging for all students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a love of reading and analytical thinking.
A proactive approach to extracurricular activities, such as history clubs or museum visits.
