Senior AI Engineer
Beamery Edge creates a data-and-computation environment for large-scale experimentation with unique data assets. We combine data, analytics and science to build a multimodal knowledge base that draws on both structured and unstructured sources, enabling solutions such as information extraction, entity resolution, graph-based embeddings and search. You will be part of a hands-on, globally distributed group tackling novel R & D problems that directly impact customers. We're building intelligent products powered by LLMs and agentic workflows that turn complex talent data into actionable insights and automation. Own and lead the full lifecycle of impactful AI-driven product initiatives, from early discovery to deployment, designed to solve talent management processes for customers.
Design, build, and scale production-grade ML systems that extract insights from rich, semi-structured text data.
Invent and implement novel models and algorithmic techniques that improve the relevance, performance, and scalability of our talent intelligence and workforce planning tools.
Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to uncover real-world needs and translate them into data-driven recommendations, and robust, user-facing applications.
Experiment rapidly and iterate on PoCs, leveraging state-of-the-art models, LLMs and agentic workflows to explore new capabilities and product directions.
Leverage machine learning techniques such as LLMs, RAG (retrieval augmented generation) and agentic orchestration frameworks to automate complex decision flows and generate insights from customer data.
Mentor and guide a talented team of data scientists, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and technical excellence. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We'd love to hear from you if you have: Proven experience delivering end-to-end ML projects, from early experimentation to production deployment.
Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to shape, test, and validate product ideas in fast-moving environments.
Deep expertise in NLP and GenAI, including Transformers, LLMs, RAG architectures, fine-tuning, and/or agent-based workflows.
Hands-on experience with recommendation systems or search-based applications.
Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across data science, engineering, product, and design.
Experience processing and leveraging large, messy, unstructured datasets and making sense of them through ML.
Excellent technical leadership, communication and mentorship skills, with the ability to bring others along on complex AI initiatives.
Experience with modern software engineering and MLOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and robust data and model pipelines. Bonus Points For
Experience bringing GenAI systems into production, from prototype to scalable architecture, including LLM safety, prompt evaluation, and fine-tuning pipelines.
A solid grasp of LLM evaluation, bias detection, and the ethical implications of deploying AI at scale, including experience building robust evaluation datasets and frameworks.
