MUFG, a globally respected financial institution, is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Third Party Risk Management Operations to join their London office. What you'll do
As Assistant Vice President Third Party Risk Management Operations at MUFG, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the RUN side of TPRM. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with business requestors across EMEA, guiding them through complex processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with business requestors throughout the EMEA region to review new third-party requests, offering guidance and assessing accuracy while ensuring all submissions meet regulatory standards.
Take ownership of throughput for both external third parties and intragroup relationships within the TPRM process, maintaining oversight of the framework’s day-to-day operations.
Facilitate expedited reviews with key stakeholders such as Cyber Security and Data Privacy teams, ensuring timely completion of assessments.
Support due diligence activities by escalating completion of questionnaires and follow-up questions with suppliers when necessary, maintaining robust procedural controls.
Assist the VP TPRM Operations Manager and Head of TPRM in fostering cross-regional collaboration, sharing insights and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure risk assessments are completed accurately and promptly, identifying opportunities for optimisation within the TPRM process.
Work alongside offshore teams to manage transactions efficiently, driving process improvements that benefit the wider organisation.
Undertake projects under the direction of senior management to address issues within the TPRM process, contributing to system upgrades and ongoing development initiatives.
Act as a consultative advisor to stakeholders by disseminating TPRM knowledge and building a centre of expertise within the department.
Provide oversight and challenge to first line defence activities related to supplier onboarding requests and performance reviews, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
