Events Coordinator (Ref: 006976)
We are recruiting an experienced Events Coordinator for a prestigious financial services organisation in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Corporate Real Estate team that oversees Hospitality, Events Management, Facilities, and Capital Projects.
The Role:
As an Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional events and hospitality experiences across the office. You will work closely with the Events Manager, supporting everything from food and beverage operations to meeting room set-ups and employee engagement initiatives. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and organisational skills will make a tangible impact on the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Events Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee food and beverage operations, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and menu planning.
• Coordinate meeting room setups, breakdowns, and bookings according to event requirements.
• Supervise external event staff and maintain high health and safety standards.
• Liaise with facilities, IT/AV, and other teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for employees, gathering feedback and suggestions to improve future events.
• Maintain event and catering inventories, placing orders as required.
• Provide reception and hospitality support as needed, covering lunch periods or annual leave.
• Support local venue and restaurant sourcing for events.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in event coordination, ideally within a corporate environment.
• Experience in office management, reception, or administrative roles that included event planning and execution.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with the confidence to use initiative.
• Impeccable presentation and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability for early morning or evening events and occasional travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Cvent is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in corporate events and hospitality within a highly professional environment.
