SEN Teaching Assistant | Wandsworth
A vibrant primary school in Wandsworth is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant from January 2026. This SEN Teaching Assistant role provides an excellent opportunity to support pupils requiring additional academic and emotional guidance. Starting January 2026, the SEN Teaching Assistant will join a well-established support team.
The SEN Teaching Assistant will work with pupils across the school, supporting learning, behaviour, and inclusion. The school prides itself on nurturing both pupils and staff through collaboration and professional development.
Key Duties
Support pupils with SEND in class and 1:1
Assist with differentiated learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Support communication and social skills
Work alongside teachers and SENCO
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
