The Opportunity:

This role, which will report to the Commercial Marketing Manager, will work across the Defence sector, supporting the execution of demand generation activity for our digital product that creates high-intent demand, while also working on the Sponsorship segment on the event marketing side.

You’ll work closely with the Commercial Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and leads are engaged. You will be working alongside our commercial function to support Sponsorship deliverables and supporting the digital sales fulfilment aspects.

The ideal candidate will be curious, detail-oriented and eager to develop, with a genuine passion for digital marketing and a desire to grow their career in a fast-moving environment where your work directly drives impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth

o Execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to deliver a consistent flow of qualified leads for our digital advertising products

o Partner closely with the sales team to align on target audiences, lead quality, and conversion goals.

o Look for ways to optimise the marketing funnel, from awareness through to sales handoff.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

o Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, email, and social channels for our clients to fulfil digital sales and sponsorship

o Continuously test, measure, and refine campaigns to improve performance and ROI.

o Manage campaign calendars aligned with commercial priorities and product launches.

Product Marketing & Engagement

o Drive awareness and engagement for key products through compelling messaging and positioning.

o Collaborate with product and sales teams to translate product features into customer-focused value propositions.

o Create and oversee content that supports buyer journeys (e.g. case studies, whitepapers, webinars).

Performance & Analytics

o Work in collaboration with the analytics teams to track, analyse, and report on key metrics for client campaigns, including lead volume, conversion rates, cost per lead, and campaign ROI

o Use insights and data to inform decision-making and improve future activity.

o Manage marketing automation and CRM integration to ensure accurate lead tracking and attribution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

o Act as a marketing partner to the sales team, ensuring alignment on goals, messaging, and feedback loops.

o Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and leadership teams to support commercial objectives.

Spex Marketing

o Work closely with Sponsorship Activation Manager to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled

o Work closely with the portfolio’s sales team creating campaigns that enable them to meet commercial objectives and KPIs and ensure conversion rates for MQLs to SQLs are managed, maintained, and optimised

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

· Experience in B2B marketing with a focus on lead generation and a successful track record of delivering strong customer value

· An understanding of the buyer customer journey and decision making framework to build relevant campaign content and touchpoints through marketing automation

· Practical knowledge of utilising tools associated with B2B marketing campaign delivery including content management systems, email marketing, SEM, social media and Google Analytics

· Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation (Salesforce and Pardot highly desirable)

· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, Optimization and lifecycle marketing.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

· Well organized and effective at meeting hard deadlines

· Thrives in a collaborative environment which requires strong partnership with multiple functions and a shared view of success

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

· Curiosity and strong willingness to learn and be collaborative
