Restaurant Manager

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader, ensuring our Kingston upon Thames restaurant meets our high standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining our culture while managing daily operations. Expect a fast-paced environment, working with food products and common allergens, and using personal protective equipment. You'll act as manager on duty, open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling, and ensure accountability.

You'll direct Crewmembers, enforce our policies, and ensure cleanliness. Your strong communication skills will be vital in providing excellent customer service and utilising reward and recognition programmes. Organisational skills are essential, as you'll manage multiple priorities, staffing, scheduling, and cost management.

Key Details

• Pay: £17+ per hour + bonus scheme
• Hours: Varied, including days, evenings, weekends and travel as needed
• Contract: Full-time
• Location: Kingston upon Thames
• Start date: ASAP

The Work

• Support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations
• Manage shifts to meet our high standards in all restaurant zones
• Open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling and ensure accountability
• Direct Crewmembers, enforce policies, ensure cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and cost management
• Complete other duties as assigned

What You Need

• 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
• GCSEs or equivalent (preferred)
• Right to Work in the UK
• Ability to work a variety of shifts and travel as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Age: 18+

Desirable

• Formal management or business-related qualifications
• Experience using various technology systems
