Exciting New Role in a Growing & Innovative Therapy Service Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic young people? Phoenix School is expanding its therapy service and seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Speech & Language Therapists (NQT/ Band 5/ Band 6) to join our Outstanding provision for autistic students aged 3–19. You’ll be working closely with the Phoenix SaLT Team and Phoenix Outreach Team to support our Phoenix Specialist Classrooms across Tower Hamlets. As part of our expansion, Phoenix School is proud to deliver an “expert-at-hand” model of support. This means our therapists are the “expert at hand” within school environments — providing responsive, embedded, and high-impact support for staff, students, and families. The Role • As a Speech & Language Therapist at Phoenix, you will:• Work creatively and collaboratively, with access to extensive resources and expert support
• Manage your own caseload with support and coaching from senior therapists
• Plan, deliver, and train others in engaging, innovative therapeutic interventions
• Embed communication and interaction opportunities within classrooms and specialist provisions
• Support students’ emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing
• Train and upskill education professionals in neuro-affirming communication and best practice
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals to create meaningful outcomes
